The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I know they have stuff to thin the blood, cause I've been on it, but what do they have that can thicken it?

Broccoli. Seriesly Nana told us last week she couldn't eat broccoli 'cause it "thins your blood." What she was told was that she shouldn't eat it when taking the coumadin because it counteracts the coumadin (blood thinner).

Your cousin and your brother are in my prayers.

I would be scared to death!

I'm scared enough even being able to READ the music! (of course I went in knowing none of the responsories or the mass setting . . . so I had a lot to learn in a short time.)

And I missed your earlier post - prayers for Harvey and Donna, and for big brother Mike. (It isn't routine when it's your ticker or somebody's that you love -- but bypass surgery is getting better and easier all the time.)

I'm tryin' not to think that far ahead...

There are already things I probably SHOULD do at some point, but at least nothing is really broken.

OK, I'm sleepy. Going to bed to read for a bit before sleep. See everyone tomorrow! Enjoy the rest of the game, those of you who are watching it, and the rest of the evening, everyone!

Luckily the furnace is almost new. I think the next thing to go will probably be something like the washer. But I suppose something on the furnace could always get clogged or broken and need maintanence rather than full replacement...even that would be a baaaad thing in this cold!

I'd rather not think about such things...

Good night!

Yes, OB. I was wondering just how much of this muscle spasming was the knock on the head yesterday and how much was the cold front that came through. We had cold rain all day. I'm sure that's part of it.

Left arm is slightly numb but that is not unusual at all either in this weather. Doesn't happen often anymore - but occasionally.

Well just finshed reading up on the Super Bowl "half time" action with Janet and Justin and geez, Houston. . .what a legacy to pass on. I am ashamed.

LOL... No. I'm not bored. Good game since I turned over to it. I just don't have a team here.
