The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Gooood morning... things a little easier at work this morning?
To: g'nad
Yaknow... now that I reflect on it, it seems to me that there's a role here somewhere for some duct tape and vise grips.

y'ever try tuh change a crap-filled diaper one-handed on a squirmin' baby?... Heh...I with everyone else here...it may not have been funny at the time, but I wish I coulda seen it!
To: RMDupree
Yeah, there's a lot of coast line and border for them to sneak across. Frightening to find out they are actually engaged in doing it. They have to be destroyed, no other choice.

Maybe you're right.
Although, apparently the USCG guy spoke fairly openly about it..

They should make changing tables where you can strap down the kids hands and feet.
Of course...that assumes it's possible to do THAT much when they're wigglin' and thrashin' around.

Next weekend is DaytonaYeah! I know. And a relative newcomer is at the pole! I'm going to stick to an old plan and pull for the Earnhardt. :-) Old habits die hard.... even if it still seems like the wrong Earnhardt. :-(

I was thinking do much of Lil yesterday. Being glad for her knowing that you'd said her dad had been able to come around and be with the family a bit, and yet knowing as you said that it wouldn't be long. Very much like what we had with my Grama before she died last summer and Lil was really on my heart a lot. My prayers are with ya'll. And I'm shedding tears over her grief. (((((Lil Freeper)))))

I was going to go in to work about a half hour ago..... but, it's rainin' cats and dogs. I thought I'd hang out at home and relax and listen to the rain a while longer. Gotta work till 9:30 anyway and this is the last night of the quarter so I've got a week off now.
Course, this means I've got to spend that week workin' on the new project the dean dumped on me....

Every IT dept I've worked in before has been HIGHLY addicted to caffeine. Some of 'em did Dew insteada coffee...but these guys seem to be without that particular fault. It's a bit creepy...

There's a treadmill in the paper for so cheap even I could afford it. I'm assuming it's prolly manual...wonder if those work at all. Would be nice to have one...
To: Ramius; g'nad; RMDupree
How is it that so much of something so vile can come out of something that small and giggly??Its one of those strange balances of nature. Ugh! And after it's all said and done, you've even gotta laugh at the aligator death roll! :-)
