The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Secret of Roan Inish

That is one of the sweetest movies I've ever seen, and you're right, the music is lovely!

Speaking of getting drunk, I've just read somewhere that in ROTK Aragorn sings at his coronation. Yikes! Viggo singing? First he thinks he's everyone's political advisor, now he's Elvish Presley...

Good morning, thread!

It's 40 already here! However, it ain't exactly bright and sunny...and there's a flood watch. Goody.

Don't think I'll be taking any dirt roads today.

But warm is good, even if it IS a wet warm!

Around the airport? I'm not sure what's out there. The only places I've been out that way are the rental car place and the car park place. There's a KFC near gate 28B.....

Hafta wait for OB. Maybe he knows of a place.

elf-boy should be called dwarfboy this mornin. Or maybe Gollum. He thinks it is cold outside and therefore wants to wear long pants. So, he won't go downstairs to the clean laundry to find his clean pants because there is a BIG spider... And he is walking around with nuthin but skivvies, LOL. But he refuses to put on shorts cuz he thinks it is cold. The kicker is, we aren't going outside anytime soon (it's 50 degrees att), and it is nice and cozy in the house.

goofball

Logic says it would be, but he would rather go around in skivvies than put on his shorts...

Ahh, he finally put on some shorts, really long shorts, but they are shorts. No shirt yet, though. I don't get this logic of his.

LOL, he has on one tan sock and one white sock. Oh man, glad he doesn't pick out his clothes *everyday*.
