The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I have been intending to ask you if you ever found any more information on your jury case? I know you've been busy, but had any time to delve into that?

Sounds good to us as well.

Funny you should mention it. Just a couple of hours ago I got curious and went diving back into the county website looking things up.
It shows that her sentencing hearing was a couple of weeks ago, but doesn't say what the sentence was.
But.. It also shows that our defendant has filed a civil suit against the city for "personal injury" just about the time her guilty verdict came in. Everybody that testified against her is listed as a named party. It also shows a long, long history of domestics for both her and her brother that lived in the house she tried to burn down.
Looks like she's been a pain in @$$ to the county for a very long time now. Yeeessh. Talk about dysfunction.

Terrific!
Now, next question? How do I get from Kansas City to you? And (VEY important), how much time will I need to get to the airport that same night?
It's seems like a lot to pack into one day!

Hmmm... I had wondered about it several times but kept forgetting to ask you. Could be you did the county a service by convicting her. never know.
Should be interesting to find out the details of the civil suit too. Aren't we a couple of nosy folks? LOL

Yah... the details aren't available on the website. Dunno.
To: Ramius
Crazy hectic, peppered with an occasional smattering of foul personalities. Normal for here...I guess. A soap opera every day, or at least the potential for it.
I guess everyone should have such strangeness at some point in their lives/careers. I seem to have a magnet for it, and I'm going to dern well figure out how to turn that off!
To: Ramius
the details aren't available on the websiteToo bad. Good entertainment value for us there. :-)
Real life is always much more interesting than made up stuff!

To: RMDupree; osagebowman
So...where are we going?
To: Scott from the Left Coast
Here Ramius and I are trying to dig up dirty details of a little ol' arson case and you're trying to turn off your strangeness magnet! That's just boring Scott. LOL
I guess in your job you can get by with it. All us normal folks want the worst of details! :-)
