The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

And wuv - twue wuv - will fowwow you, fowevah and evah...

Oh, so that's what he said. You can sort of figure it out when you see it written down. I still love the movie, anyway. There were so many (intelligible) good lines in that film.

Heh... ever see "Shrek"? The wedding scene there parodies the Princess Bride scene subtly - without the "wuv" bits.

We don't own the movie. Though we should, we're always having to borrow it from the library.

What's wrong with Princess Bride?

Not quite my brand of silly.

Another great little movie, with something for all age levels and IQs.

Yeah... except I get a bit uncomfortable laughing at certain jokes when my little brothers are in the room... it's not as clean as PB. Still, far and away better than most kids movies. Don't remember a kid movie I've really, really liked in the last five years, other than "The Emperor's New Groove".

Don't have Godfather II.

Actually, Devil Bat would be good. That's where the chemist gets even with the eeeeeeevil chemical company.
