The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Cookies are good.... hey... if you can, I would love a screen shot of Rosie's hair with the flowers at the wedding.
To: HairOfTheDog
Welcome back, Hair.
Did you see your brother making fun of my shark-phobia?

I had a major temper tantrum as a kid.... at least, one that I can remember. My mom pointed right at me and laughed! Then she called everyone else in to watch and said to me "Do that again so everyone can see!"
Harumph.
To: HairOfTheDog
Works every time!
I bet you stopped your fussin'. *grin*
My mom did it to me and I've done it to Becky. And so it continues...

Best start fiddling with the rabbit ears to catch the new show.

Is that what that's about? We do have sharks at the beach house too.... Lots of them 'bout the size of that one they caught at Melbourne beach.
To: osagebowman
Good night, osage!

Yeah... *thousands* of them.
To: RMDupree
But then, we call them *dogfish*, and they don't get a whole lot bigger than the one in the bucket.
To: Ramius
Unless I'm catching them on the end of a fishing pole, I ain't interested!

I've got some classic temper tantrums on film. I can't wait to show those to her during her teen years. *grinning*Now that's thinking ahead!--if my parents had done that to me I think I'd have been a little less rebellious as a teen on accounta being too embarrassed :)

Sharks are a very rational fear! I was just listening to an audiobook about the USS Indianapolis disaster... 300 went down with the ship, and 600 more drowned or were eaten by sharks. Yuck!
Fortunately there are no sharks in the hills of Pennsylvania...

I know what I was like as a teen, so I'm preparing for the worst.

I think it's a pretty natural thing to not want to be eaten alive! *laughing*
This Stephen King mini-series looks pretty good....

Went to town, got some hay and some Bay meds from the vet. Ecurbh bucked all the bales with his sore shoulder from yesterday! - He'll get in shape yet!Yep, that hay bailin's good exercise :) Hope his shoulder isn't hurt too bad, though!
