The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

LOL!
Voice over: They thought everything was going ot be fine in thread.
They thought they were safe.
They thought it was a fine day.
They were wrong. *cue ominous music, camera zooms in on lurking Emu behind a couch and a potted tree watching the group in blissful ignorance of it's existence.*
When Emus ATTACK!
*Video shows people running, screaming, crying. Emu making clogged drain noises.*

It's not an
EMU...it's a
CHICKEN! LOL
Granted, it's a big, fluffy, (likely overfed) chicken, but still...

or i need to get my sewing machine fixed.... that would do it.There's a store in Key West that sells piece goods of the fabrics it uses for their gorgeous Hawaiian shirts and dresses. If I can find the brochure, I'll tell you the name. I guess you could Google for Hawaiian print fabrics, though.

Luke, I've tried to give you this before. It was your father's Light Baster.
To: Professional Engineer; 2Jedismom
"Um.. gee thanks." Luke promptly puts out R2's eye with it.

which are pink and white dogwood, and some other blue stuff)Think about using those along with some other flowers which could blend with the Hawaiian print that your attendants will wear. Look for a pattern that incorporates the pink and white dogwoods! I'm sure you can find something! Plumeria looks a bit like dogwood, so you could go with those in a print for the attendants, and see if there are other colors in it that you can add to the dogwood base of your bouquet.

Ok, I'm back for a bit!
Thom is doing well, WN. I had woken up with him on my mind for some reason and I left a message on his home machine before I left to the theatre.
When I got home, my mom told me he had called and was so happy to hear from me because he'd been thinking to call lately since he'd been down in the dumps. He called back an hour later and we talked and talked until I ran out of things to say (which YOU know is next to impossible! LOL!!).
I missed his company, albeit "phone" company, so I'm glad we're talking again. :-)

I like our visitors to the Hobbit Hole! And they brought their 11 statuettes!!
Before watching the Acadamy Awards, I made a list of all the nominations amassed by RoTK. As they won each of their categories, I checked them off my list. I was sweating best song because the two from Cold Mountain were so good, as well as the one from Triplets of Belleville, so I was glad we won. Then it was just the BIG ONE! When Stephen Spielberg said "It's a Clean Sweep: I just screamed!! Actually, I hollered every time RoTK won, it was SO exciting! I watched the entire thing JUST for PJ and Tolkien!
I loved that opening sequence with Billy Crystal in parts of all the movies. We cheered when the Mumakil got Michael Moore. ;o) Do you know if that production number is available anywhere online?

Well, I think it's awesome that you talked to him. And I hope that you two continue to talk often. I know that he has been very supportive and special to you in the past and it will be good for you to have somebody like that to talk to! Can't discount the help of those kind of friends! :-)
