Spirit: All 1,543 Raw Images - 43 new images since 01/18/2004 10:23:34 PST |
 |
Sol 15 raw images have arrived! Spirit began performing activities requested by the science team during Sol 16. Those images and other data are currently being sent back to Earth for posting on Sol 17. Any data not transmitted on Sol 17 will be stored onboard the rover and sent on subsequent days during the next possible communications opportunities. (Black spaces typically mean partial data has arrived, but Spirit will fill in the rest of the data as soon as possible). Stay tuned!

Posted as a URL reference of all the images sent so far.
With 1500+ images already sent, it is getting difficult to keep up with the universes' busiest golf cart.
When the next rover lands, it is going to be impossible to keep up with all the data.
Please don't post the images here, because it will bog down the thread. If you find an image that is interesting, post the url.

This is awesome. Thanks. My 12 year old and I were talking about the availability of pictures this morning and I told him they were probably on a web site somewhere.
How natural it is for FR to have what I'm looking for when I'm looking for it.

Thanks for the ping. See my post 7. Just what I needed to prove what a genius, hero I am to my 12 year old.
Yeah, like a 12 y/o boy ever thinks his dad is a genius or hero unless money or gifts are involved.

FYI: A "Sol" is a Martian solar day; it is 24 hours, 39 minutes, 35 seconds long.

Good point, and the number behind it is the number of days the rover has been on Mars.
