why anyone would want to marry the "women" that this society has produced is beyond me. Better to just fire to your wallet and your self respect.

I totally agree. When I saw my sister over Christmas she asked me why I don't actively date anymore. I told her that hers was a gender in decline (a broad brush, I know). I think she's still fuming at me.

"He's Catholic and Republican, but it's nothing you can't change" Oh yeah, I'd rush into her arms /sarcasm. I'd rather remain celibate.
I married someone with most of my values. Needless to say, she wasn't originally from NYC.

Bah, there are plenty of good Christian women out there, they just aren't portrayed on TV, in magazines, or the movies. Sort of a hidden culture these days, since the real shortage is of good Christians(and faithful practicing Jews) in TV news, print editors, and script writers.

And they wonder why Russian mail-order brides are such a big business. I was at a friends' birthday party several months ago, and one of his neighbors had married a woman he'd met via a Russian service. She was pretty, without being overwhelmingly so, intelligent, far better read than the average American woman, and had none of the attitude you see so often in the typical American woman. She was utterly devoted to her husband of 11 months and her 8-year-old son from her first marriage. She was also the only one, other than my wife and myself, who brought food to the party, and I'll admit, the cake she baked was FAR superior to the large tin of Walker's Shortbread I brought along . . .

I married a woman traditional Cuban society produced. After thirty years, I had decided that our society produces mostly twits and emotional retards, and I needed someone with values and discipline (nevermind the temper).

This is all a huge waste of time and energy. Return to arranged marriages and the nation might survive.

I am so grateful that I have a good wife and don't have to play this dating game these days. We've been married for almost 20 years now and if something ever happened I would just stay single. The women now days are not like they used to be and just are not worth the aggravation.

There are three kinds of single women over 21:
1) Those with kids.
2) Those with over $20K in credit card debt.
3) Those with both.
I am not going to sign up to pay someone else's debts or propagate some other male's DNA.
The only freeking way I am ever going to get married again is if her father pays me a fat dowry to take the unstable creature out of his home and make it productive.
