The Autumnal Recrudescence of the Amatory Urge

When the birds are cacaphonic in the trees and on the verge
Of the fields in mid-October when the cold is like a scourge.
It is not delight in winter that makes feathered voices surge,
But autumnal recrudescence of the amatory urge.

When the frost is on the punkin' and when leaf and branch diverge,
Birds with hormones reawakened sing a paean, not a dirge.
What's the reason for their warbling? Why on earth this late-year splurge?

Got my private ticket at 41. Built a 2 seat Experimental Amhib. Flew it for four years and sold it. But I think I told you that story. I hope you're getting flying lessons. I'm gonna build another 2 seater in the next year or so.

I'm about 98% sure I am. I have been talking about this for months now. And I noticed 3 grand is missing from her account(I am an unapologetic snoop). The total lessons to be certified is, yep three biggies! And I only know one Sherry! If I am wrong, I will plead a mea culpa and be the monkey:)
