The Autumnal Recrudescence of the Amatory Urge

When the birds are cacaphonic in the trees and on the verge
Of the fields in mid-October when the cold is like a scourge.
It is not delight in winter that makes feathered voices surge,
But autumnal recrudescence of the amatory urge.

When the frost is on the punkin' and when leaf and branch diverge,
Birds with hormones reawakened sing a paean, not a dirge.
What's the reason for their warbling? Why on earth this late-year splurge?

Works for me. Course I live in Commiefornia, so I am not supposed to like guns.....guns kill...just last month I saw a Barretta hop across the floor, open the front door....hop all the way to a convienience store, shoot the clerk,and stole a case of beer. Of course not all guns drink, some take drugs, and kill the dealers. You gotta hand it to guns....the need no human contact to be successful.

I think I am getting pilots lessons for Christmas. I told my wife I wanted to learn to fly. I overheard her talking to a "Sherry" on the phone. Sherry is a local pilot/teacher.
Either that or my wife is a lesbo....I'm not quite sure....stay tuned.

The stores weren't all that bad - of course we went while most people were still at work and kids in School.

I did not want to do any baking tonight - but the dogs have given me no choice..........they snatched the plates of cookies I was planning on mailing to Florida in the morning, while we were out.
