My piano professor in college came over from Holland after the war. He used to practice playing the pipe organ in the cathedrals with gloves with the fingers cut out.

I had vey few acceptable reasons for not practicing...

I had a good reason for not practicing. I hated it! :-)

But, I wasn't in college. I was in elementary school. There were many better things to be doin'!

I've been known to do that here. My fingers will be vey cold, but the rest of me is comfortable.
