Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

If we had more time, I coulda given it to Suzi! They're taking the train...probably wouldn't be so hard to check and stow.

Okay....coming in on the 9th at 3:50 and leaving the 16th at 2:40.
Planning on bringing my air mattress. Do I need to bring linens?
ksen: do you still want me to bringHoly Grail? I can also bring Fawlty Towers if anyone is interested.

Speaking of packing light...we DID determine that there's a washer and dryer at the castle, no?
'Cause if that's the case, I can pack REALLY light.
To: Wneighbor
you got it...

We're bringing instruments! Hopefully we don't get booted out of the castle by day 2 for that...
To: g'nad
Thanks gnad... that way I can just chunk in a sleeping bag or small bedroll and be set for the week.
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh yeah....that's in and out of MCO
To: Wneighbor
I'd be too, if I wasn't in the office at the moment.
I plan on making the most of it though. At least I get to go for 3 days instead of nothing at all, right?

Benny Hen just laid her second egg! And guess what else? Puffy started squatting...BIG TIME! She always runs away when I go to pick her up, but just now I went to pet her and she squatted clear to the ground!

I'll be sending the final deposit check this week.Clare, Joseph and I will be coming by train and we plan to arrive in Orlando after 4pm on Friday the 9th. We may need to be picked up at the train station and taken to a place to rent a car. I haven't called Amtrak to see if there are any rental places near the station. I'll get all that ironed out in the next week or two. We'll probably be leaving the early afternoon of the 14th so Clare can get back in time for her Anime Club Movie night.
We definitely want to go to the Kennedy Space Center, and maybe Universal Studios. Not sure about any others; we'll see how the urge strikes us while we're there.

I know you were thinking of renting the theater just for us to see ROTK, but is that necessary? I don't mind seeing it on an afternoon during a regular showing and we could get there early enough so we could all sit together. Don't know what other folks think, but it may save some bucks we could use for doing one of the other activities.

For the others, how long was it between their starting to squat and actual laying?
To: RosieCotton; JenB
I'm planning to rent a mini-van, and will have room for 4 besides myself and the kids. I have to figure out how to get the car since we're planning to come on the train. When I figure it out, I'll let you know. Won't be able to help you from the airport to the Castle, but y'all can carpool with us during the week.

Didja hear that we may be getting up to three feet of snow or some crazy amount over the course of the next week? Just so long as it doesn't start until Sunday afternoon! We are doing St. Nicholas pictures after Masses on Sunday morning to accomodate those folks who were not able to make it to Church last Sunday because of the storm.

For here, it's supposed to be from late Sunday on, and I think it's coming by way of NY...so it may miss you folks altogether, I don't know! Sounds like the brunt of it will hit upstate NY. We may not get as much as my boss is hoping we will...
To: Wneighbor
I think any sudden illness would be highly suspect!
I tried to work around it somehow, but it's the busiest time of year and also a vacation blackout period. They let me get away with having a day or two off simply because it was pre-arranged, but I have employees from at least 11 companies counting on me to get their payroll out that week.
It sucks, plain and simple.
