Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I might need someone to pick us up at the train station so that we can go get a car, unless I can get a company to bring to car to us. I think Enterprise will do that.

I should be around and able to help on Friday afternoon.

Yes, both vey evil! I've had enough professional dealing with SBC to know they're terrified of the PUC coming down on them. heheheh Yah... but the PUC regs only apply to the phone connection, not DSL service. If the whole phone line goes down they are required to expedite the repair, but if the phone still works and it just the internet service on the DSL side of the circuit... they don't care so much.

'course I have no idea where I'm going...

Yep. Yer right on the DSL part. I'd still rather go with the bloodsucking phone company, then the blood gulping cable company.
To: Ramius
Ramius, do you know what software is required to upload waypoints from a Garmin GPS to a PC?
Although, I guess I will call their 800 # in the morining and ask the horse's mouth.

Cars... thanks!
Those are pretty much the same rates I'm seeing. Gotta add the loss/damage waiver and the taxes (about 200 or so to each).
I'm leaning back toward the minivan. What think?

I got no car and it's breaking my heart
But I found a driver and that's a start
To: Wneighbor
No, I like the Jag idea better. :-)Me too.
To: Ramius; All
Depends.... with so many others having cars we may not ~need~ the van....
Hmmm... I hate to say what I think, because I can't afford to do either one!
What say all? - have we got enough empty seats in all these cars to get us all to the theater?

Oh, is that tomorrow?
To: HairOfTheDog; Ramius
I'm there on Saturday to get us to the theater. So that's 7 riders (counting me). But remember we're leaving Sunday a.m.
