The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

reread your post. The tense can be "interpreted"

I tend not to use spell checkers. Most of the time, I'm dealing with vocabulary that is way too esoteric. Word goes into coniptions over "ampacity" for example.

I don't use 'em either, because they don't like fantasy names, and they don't like conversational words, like "you'da thought he'd've seen that dude with the lightsaber before that..."

Which is not a sentence I've ever used in a story. Why not?

See, Tulsa is laid out on a grid called "Sections" from the land run. Each section is a mile square.

*laughing*

Tonight the class I teach is the architectural CADD class. Last Monday night's class covered just what you're talking about! Metes and bounds, surveys, principle meridians, townships, sections, blocks, lots, plats etc. Wish my students had as clear an understanding of this as you do!!! It is surprising to come across someone whose eyes don't glaze over with these ideas! :-)

Yer living on the edge right? The photons from the camera flash may be just enough to upset that delicate balance.
