Wow. I love 'em.

I'm still trying to get my package out to my friend's BIL...I've added socks and some oatmeal creme cookies to the knife and am thinking of putting a maglight with a harness, you know? I like that idea for the stockings. I should try to get it out tomorrow if the weather isn't too bad.

It was sent insured, and I have all the paperwork, but the post office is notorious for not paying claims.

Wow.... I didn't know a shipment of knives was lost! What a shame. Prayers that the post office pays the claim and replace it!

Good job on these radios.... I wish I could send money now. Have a job interview tomorrow.... a 'tweener job, but it would be income! Wish me luck.

Well, in between that and now I cleaned stalls and then cleaned me. Horses were in all afternoon today because it was POURING, but they are out stretching their legs in a break now.

Now, I'm wondering about that suggestion that PurpleQ made before Mac came to visit about seeing you the weekend of President's day. I actually have off several days then too. We *could* still drive to Tulsa for a foot soak. If she wanted.

I did not know about some knives going AWOL! That is bad! I musta missed that during one of my gone times!

I hadn't mentioned it before today because I was always hoping they'd arrive. But in emails with Steve, I came to the conclusion they weren't going to appear, ever. We have to assume they were lost, stolen, or destroyed. I'm glad I took out the insurance, but I dread the fight with the post office.

Those look like the newest of the radios we use at work! They do a dandy job, and are much more rugged and easier to recharge than the old ones. We like 'em.

I hadn't heard about the missing package of knives...that's awful. Hope they find them or at least pay the claim.

As soon as I have any cash at all to spare, I'll send something your way.

300wm good luck on that tussle; they will probably want receipts and all to show the true value of the shipment. That is a substantial amount of money.

I'm sorry you think it's gonna be harder. Couple of guys nodded off in the jury I was on. Prolly the main reason I didn't was cause I rode my bike to court... and even went on bike rides with my attorney friend on our lunch break. That kinda keeps one awake.

Yah... Oh, I'm sure I'll be able to stay awake. But it's turning out that sitting there and *paying attention* is not as easy as it sounds. I sit there and suddenly realize that my mind wandered off while Mr. deadpan monotone witness was talking about... something... what did he just say? Ugh.
