Graduate school means a lot to me. Part of it is I think it would be a chance to be among my own sort. I don't have any rl friends, realy. One or two I hang with, but they aren't friends. And that's hard.

Plus we're really short on geek guys in these parts and I would like to get one of those one of these days.

I had heard of some of those cases of vehicles overturning in the water too. Maybe it was that journalist I heard about. But, it really brought it home to me to have Tom standing there in the airport relating the story! I know now we are all glad we've sent knives! :-)

Just chillin' for a little while to let traffic die down, since now I gotta head back south again. No bachpad for me tonight...

I got one down here I wish I could introduce you too. The one I was talking about earlier that made a 99 on the Navy test. He's a sweetie. Coupla years younger than you though... he's fixin' ta be 19. VEY nice. I tried to fix him up with Myranda a couple of years ago. She wasn't geeky enough for him. :-)

Surely you wouldn't rather be at the bachpad? I mean, you've been looking forward to your jury stint! I am going to want to hear all the details as soon as you can tell 'em. Only thing is, what are ya gonna do if you get on a case that really ticks you off and the other jurors don't see it your way? Can you handle the high pressure persuasion? :-)

Yeah, I need an older guy so he's more mature than me. Besides I don't want to move that far south. Except sometimes when the weather's this nasty.

That's great that the local high school will do that! Ours won't, so that's why I registered Clare with a high school in Maine that checks over her work, will create the packages that go with college applications, and issue a diploma when all her work is done. I knew about the military and some scholarship possibilities not accepting the GED, so I wanted her to get her diploma.

The State of Maine only requires 17 1/2 credits for a diploma, but she'll have done all the requirements, and have the 22 credits that are required by the State of MA before she gets hers so that there's no question if she wants to attend a State University in MA.

hehehe... Well, I've been to graduate school... and I wouldn't count on it to necessarily improve the odds much. Mine was a pretty twisted group.

Maybe it's different for the daytime crowd... admittedly, mine was the nighttime MBA group.

And no... I don't have an MBA. I got about half of it and then started remodeling my house. Then got made director and my available time evaporated. But... It was a really good experience anyway. Never looked back. I learned all the buzzwords in the first year anyway. :-)

I got some nice photos of you on the beach Jen. There are more but these were the 2 best ones IMO. Hope you like these! I think you look right pretty in both of 'em!

Well. This one seems a lot older than he really is. Kinda the way with a lot of ya'll homeschool types. He is my work study here and has been for the last 2 years. VEY good to have working for me. VEY responsible. He will be going somewhere up around the great lakes for his Navy basic he said. uhhhh... not too far like Texas is.... :-)

Wahoo indeed! Getting in to Tacoma ain't bad..... Get off 16 at Sprague and go all the way to 6th Ave..... head down the hill from there to Tacoma Ave. - beats going the spur and then up the hill.

You mean like a day at the office, only I never have to see these people again??? Say... that DOES sound like a good time.

I figure if I'm going to graduate school for computer science, at the very least there will be geeks to talk to, even if I can't date any of them. And heck, my odds will have to be better in a real college town...
