OK! - Hullo Tom, when you get here!

Gonna go hit the couch for the end here, too tired to sit in this chair.

Good night everyone!

I can't explain this..

I can't explain it either. Howard Shore looks like a dweeb with that expression (and those duds). He needs almost as much help as Elijah.

I just got this email from Steve:

I would like to ask for your help on something. Before leaving the states we bought a bunch of two way radios, because we knew that our communication here would be very limited. We bought Audiovox radios and have had many problems with them. Among them are chargers going bad, clips breaking, poor range, very short battery life. We depend on these radios everyday. I recently wrote to the corporation in New York detailing the problems and our situation here in Iraq. I asked if there was anything they could do. I recieved no response from them. What I was wondering is if you could post this information on free republic, along with their address and phone number. You can get the information off of their website. I would have it for you, but it seems that the site is down today. I would like to ask everyone to call, e-mail or write the company and express your opinion as to their lack of concern for us. Maybe if we give them enough bad publicity they will start to care about us. All we wanted was a response, even if it was that they could not do anything for us. If you could help out that would be great. We just want to get their attention. Thanks again for everything.

Steve

P.S. We have since had additional radios sent from home and are getting by. They are Motorolas and work great. We just want them to step up and accept some kind of responsibitily. Thanks Again.

It looks like we're on a mission from God, folks. I think we're going to have to buy some more Motorola radios (Probably FRS or GMRS) for Steve and the guys. Meanwhile, I'll research Audiovox, and see if we can light a fire under them. Worse come to worse, I'll have Steve send me some smashed/shot-up Audiovox products, and mail them to the board of directors and/or the media.

We're peaceful people here at the Hobbit Hole. But when we get angry, we fight dirty. You folks make me proud.

Good morning..I think.

Schools are cancelled here, and I have to go to work.

Going to work won't be a prob...coming home will be. That is when the snow, the wind, the cold is supposed to be happening. O joy.

I wanna stay home!

And I am really tired of men who think it's cool to explore their feminine side.

REAL men don't HAVE a feminine side to explore!

Good morning!

Good morning!

I'm really unsure about this whole 'commute' thing. We got at least four inches of snow and I'm not sure how recent the plowing was... it looks tough...

Good morning!

No snow here...but it's -22 and the car made horrendous grinding noises when I started it. I hope it's OK now...I gotta drive to work! Also hope it's warm...

See you at work!

If you're likely to get stuck or go off the road somewhere, I wouldn't do it, if 'twere I.

Went downstairs... I can't get out yet, the road hasn't been plowed. So I'm going to sit and wait. Maybe in an hour it'll be clear enough to get somewhere.

Wish I could work from home but I just have no data of any sort...

Well, I made it. The van's springs were so stiff from the cold that they were SQUAWKING loudly ever time I went over a bump, but it held together...

Going back through the Golden Globe pictures and all. We done good!

I went to the office. Actually, I let Dad drop me and take my car - as it's actually the best at this weather after the SUV and my sister needs that - to his place. So I'm here, not at the place I should be, without a car, with wet jeans from the snow...

Forgot to mention, neither the boss nor the other programmer are here yet. Guess they didn't like the roads, either!
