Man, I really wish I were back there.
Drove back to church with the fourteen-year-old brother SCREAMING in my ear every ten seconds as someone in the car did something he didn't approve of. I was ready to smack the kid, with that on top of his fidgiting in church, and then we get home and he leaves me standing in snow in my sunday shoes, trying to get the little guy to get out of the car. Needless to say, I wasn't amused.
Hasn't anyone got any ideas for dealing with this age? Other than leaving home, which I'm planning to do soon enough?

hello, and glad to see you've survived the week ok. D did amazingly well at the district meet yesterday. I'm so proud of him. He qualified for the Regional meet in the men's 100 butterfly and the 200 freestyle relay, coming in 2 weeks, placing 5th in both events. for just starting his training last fall, and this being his first year that is something. Most of these boys have been training for years. He's vey happy. I have some pics too.

We're watchting TTT EE now. It's still snowing, all cats are in, and we're trying to decide how to fix the chicken.

Yay!!!! Rehearsal is cancelled. Sister says it would be neat to have video of g'nad singing the fish song.....

Ugh, I feel lousy, I've got a headache and they're screaming. The kitchen's a mess and I have tons of homework. I'm almost looking forward to Monday, if it weren't for the ice storm coming through tonight.

tell him to quit actin' like a little girl, to shut his trap and act like the man he thinks he is... nobody respects a man with no self-discipline or dignity, and he is acting with a total lack of both... he should be openin' doors for you, and you should never be carrying anything with him around... if he contiues to act like a little turd, treat him like one...

We've been telling him that for the last six years and he won't listen!
Sometimes I really worry about him. At least my other brothers are more masculine - and more chivalrous. The obnoxious one has a couple excuses but it's gotten beyond excusable... if he were at public school he'd get beaten to a pulp every day and I'm not always sure that would be a bad thing.

Is that how it goes? I thought there was something about rock and pool nice and cool on our poor feet, then the juicy sweet. Or something like that. Andy Serkis did it wrong I think. But I loved those pics of you pretending that scene. Funny.

Hey OT: this is LSA. Did you park in the underground parking at KCI or up-top? If'n you parked in the open you may want to pack an ice-scrapper 'cause you may need to hack your way into the car. OB and I worked for over an hour getting both vehicles cleared. "Course with the weather weenies we've got, it could always hit 50 tomorrow--you just never know.

Well, my one brother, the 11 year old, would gladly pound anyone. But we're trying to teach him manners. Then 9 year old will do whatever he's told but he's slight and would turn black-and-blue, and of course the little guy's no help... besides, it wouldn't be right to have my little brothers do my dirty work.
So I'm struggling with homework and trying to ignore the little nuisances like siblings... perhaps I should ship my brother off to your place for some hard-knocks lessons.
