Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Actual novels, or fanfiction? If it's real novels, do you mind telling me which author? I've read a few Trek novels... some are good...

Her name is Susan Schwartz, and she writes with Josepha Sherman. They've done "Vulcan's Forage" (I was tuckerized as the science officer on a Federation research ship), and "Vulcan's Heart". The first half of a two-parter, tentatively titled "Vulcan's Soul" is being scheduled for release some time soon.
I like Susan's Trek books because she has a genuine love of the material, and a real ear for the authentic voice of each character. Her late-TOS stuff reads like good TV eps.

As long as she's not the person responsible for Mary-Sue, I'm ok with her.... I haven't read any of her books, though, it's been a while since I've been a real trekkie.
Wow, this burning job is taking forever.

Now isn't this a cute picture? Took it earlier today. Just a picture of my jedis hanging out in a bush with a chicken.

As long as she's not the person responsible for Mary-Sue, I'm ok with her.... She's a fan of fanfic, too, and Mary Sue is anathema to her.

Yes... we can go back. Tomorrow even.
If it is rented out again to somebody, it may take a while to clear and secure, but we can do it.
