Actual novels, or fanfiction? If it's real novels, do you mind telling me which author? I've read a few Trek novels... some are good... The real thing. Her name is Susan Schwartz, and she writes with Josepha Sherman. They've done "Vulcan's Forage" (I was tuckerized as the science officer on a Federation research ship), and "Vulcan's Heart". The first half of a two-parter, tentatively titled "Vulcan's Soul" is being scheduled for release some time soon.
I like Susan's Trek books because she has a genuine love of the material, and a real ear for the authentic voice of each character. Her late-TOS stuff reads like good TV eps.

As long as she's not the person responsible for Mary-Sue, I'm ok with her.... I haven't read any of her books, though, it's been a while since I've been a real trekkie.
Wow, this burning job is taking forever.
