The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Romulans and Vulcans are more Elf-like, in some ways.

It's the ears.

And the restrained manner and oddly graceful movement.

And the ears, yes.

Ooh...I saw that.

It was a shame, though. I LIKED Odo, before they started the campaign to explore his feeeeelings.

If you'll vouch for it, I'll watch it! lol

You won't regret it! We loved it cause it was filmed in the MS Delta, not too far from where SSQ grew up, but besides that, it was just a FUNNY movie! There's not a throwaway line in the whole thing! And the soundtrack is just fabulous! When Clare studies "The Odyssey" this year, I'm gonna have her write a paper about the similarities between the two stories.

Hmmmmm....don't Klingons have any lawyers to sue the plastic surgeons?

Wasn't there a TNG episode where they revisit one of TOS episodes? And someone asks Worf what happened? As I recall, he said something like "We do not speak about it."

Never liked that Kira chick, though, so once those two hooked up there was no reason to stick around....

Actually I'd kinda gotten into the series right before they killed whatsername who married Worf, and that was so badly done, I never watched another episode.

That was a DS9 episode, and they went back to the Tribbles episode. That was brilliant!

Yeah...but at least Picard does hit on every alien chick he meets in his travels, regardless of shape or color...

Bob Keeshan, Captain Kangaroo, has died.

Now that's just a bummer! I loved Captain Kangaroo when I was growing up, and I swear he looked like he was 76, 45 yrs. ago!! Must have been a great makeup job.

Another reminder of how far away the past is getting.

As if the grey hair and the effects of gravity on body parts isn't enough!

Not that he isn't unbearably cold and serious, but...
