The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I heard the end of it on the radio on my way home from work! I liked it too! But then, my neighbor don't say too terribly much that I don't like.

Myranda and I were out there for about 10 days just before I moved up here. We didn't go to see the lights. Went to Ft. Davis, McDonald Observatory, El Paso and then down to Presidio and the state park and 4 days in the Nat'l park. We didn't specifically go to see the lights. But, we looked for 'em. :-)

We both think Ft. Davis is the ideal very small town to get away to. And we love going up in the Chisos.

Listening to the Dean primal scream was hilarious. Especially in rush hour traffic. Talk about self-destruction.

*laughing*

Which moot? Footmoot or don't-look-at-the-lights-moot?

I was thinkin' while I was driving back from Carrollton today that I needed to talk to you and PE about when you want to get together for homemade taquitos. If you don't feel like drivin' all the way to Wichita I wouldn't mind makin' 'em at your house.... if you'd want me usin' your kitchen that is! LOL

the Chisos are fantastic. I can't fer the life of me remember the peak at Big Bend. I have a picture of me on top holding an HT. During an after trip slide show, I poppped that one on screen and explained I was listening to the WX because I could see (insert slide from Wyoming) glaciers in the distance.

For you, that'd be like when you and the other car in your county are both on the same road at the same time. Nerve-wracking, I'm sure. :-)

Ya' know when the stoopid chickens get between you (on the Deere) and the barn. Ya' got that Guiness waiting at the barn and them durn chickens wanna test yer patience. or yer mower blades.
