The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I would vote for Texas! Except in Summer... I wouldn't want the northern attendees to melt.I think Texas in spring with the bluebonnets in bloom is just about as perfect and near heaven as you can get myself. Whadayathink?
Hill Country moot? Kerrville? LOL

All you Entmoot folks who bought those NASA souvenirs made me jealous. I wonder if there's a web site for online sales?
Meanwhile, this is my latest addition to my collection of IBM "coffee mugs", courtesy of someone in the Seattle area:

I'm one of the lucky with the day off. So I slept in! But I have a busy day planned- lots of housework. Joy joy joy. Roasted a chicken this weekend and now I'm making stock- will make soup today. Baked a cheesecake and put some beans to soak for chile. Today I'm cooking up several pounds of sausage and making yogurt dough. Hafta fold the laundry and vacuum.... ack! at least I slept in. ;)

Morning FRiends!
Corin - It IS a very hard thing to do. Now, we just need to decide how to do her room at the house. We're going to wait until spring no matter what, so we've got some time. But...I like the Red, White, and Blue idea...maybe we'll end up doing something like that.
RMD - Jess and I were making some VEY hard decisions when we were packing about what to keep, what to donate, and what to chuck. Among one of the more nostalgic things we ended up keeping was her last premie diaper (unused, of course!). I don't think we'll ever get rid of that. Couple of pacifiers, some of her old bottles, her first outfits, etc...it's darn tough to get rid of them, especially since Jess and I are STILL trying for another baby (a whole other headache for a whole other time).
All - despite my melancholy state yesterday, I was uplifted this morning at my monday bathroom "weigh-in". I'm now at 230 lbs, down from 265 lbs back in October! 40 more pounds to go...I'm almost halfway there!

Morning!
We don't want to go to work today
But the Lord of the Lash says "nay, nay, nay!"
We're gonna work all day, all day, all day.
Where there's a whip, there's a way.

`Wake up, wake up! Wake up, sleepies!' he whispered. `Wake up! No time to lose. We must go, yes, we must go at once. No time to lose!'
Good morning!

Out of curiousity - is that song any better or worse than Leonard Nimoy's "Ballad of Bilbo Baggins"?

Great pictures! You look thrilled, Myranda looks more grown-up and Jill looks exhausted.
Did Tom mention the Hobbit Hole?
WHen is everything going to calm back down and we get you back??
LOL!

That's a relief...I didn't think music got much worse than that song.
