Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

bedbugs... hehehehe...
I've decided that in addition to the external alcohol treatment, some internal alcohol might be in order. So I'm currently having one of these:

Yeah, that ALWAYS does the trick for me. I take a bath -n- get all squeaky clean, then as soon as I get out of the tub, get a wash cloth and "bathe" in rubbing alcohol.
I am extremely prone to mosquitoes. When I was a teenager, I worked at 6-Flags (back before Warner Bros. bought the theme park and changed everything) as a ride operator. My home was the Spelunker Cave. I think I counted 40 bites on ONE leg once (I didn't count those on the other leg, I was so disgusted). Not fun, don't plan on ever getting that many bites again.

Right, this is dreadful. I'm going to bed and hope I can sleep. The anime I just watched might help with that. Or not. We'll see.

Well, just got done with Elf-boy. He tripped on his way back to bed from the bathroom. Had to take care of a stumped toe. Yeowy! Poor kid. I told him he could wear sandals and slippers for the rest of the weekend. I am just glad he has Monday off this next week cuz he has to wear sneakers to school.
This is his first stumped toe. Hopefully he won't repeat any time soon.
He might just remember this one for a long time too.

Y'all got some of those luster glasses, too? Joseph had seen the beer stein at the airport, but I made him wait until we got to Kennedy. Clare got one of the short shot glasses and I got the tall flared one for Paul. I got myself a vey nice 20 oz. coffee mug (not the lustre, just ceramic with the Space Center logo on it), and we got a 'Rocket Scientist' t-shirt for SSQ. JenB saw it first and showed it to us. She got one for herself, too!

Hmmm. Sand fleas from the beach?
To: JenB
Or not. We'll see. Is it the one with the spontaneous sex-changing dude/dudette?

Have you seen the Bakshi LOTR? And the Rankin Bass LOTR? Can you sing "Frodo of the nine fingers" with a warble in your voice?
That's where we've been, and it wasn't pretty.
Oh, and then there was Florida.
To: Ramius
I've never heard of sand fleas that *bite*.... We have them at our fishing camp. Nasty little buggers!
To: SuziQ
Roger that...

A couple of hours after a few applications of isopropyl alcohol the bumps are significantly reduced and itching is gone. You do know that for topical application only, don't you?
