So, should I watch it again?

If the lady president lives through the attack ...Oh, she'll be back; they wouldn't have wasted time with this "malignancy" that she saw the doctor about early on.
I just hope the second part shows her for the bleeding heart idiot she is.
I'm guessing the "power coils" that were in the cargo bay next to the Viper have something to do with solving the cliffhanger.

If the lady president lives through the attack She did, according to my channel guide for tomorrow's conclusion. I can't stand her: "Did we offer to surrender"? "Let's not counterattack, let's run around picking up survivors and making ourselves gigantic targets."

Watched it for awhile. Hated it. Too PC.
Original Battlestar Gallactica was horrible because it was hokey. SciFi Channel had a chance to really do it up right with the remake. Instead, they had to put all their little political agendas in.
This one is on my "do not watch" list.

Mmmmm. Erin Gray:
Why didn't Buck nail her in the first episode?

So, should I watch it again? LOL... Are you expecting a different result if you watch it again?
Part 2 tomorrow night.
To: SaveTheChief
He used one of the emp generators the ship was transporting from the Galactica to nuke the incoming fighters AND/OR kill the incoming missiles. The pulse wiped out the sensors in the region and the Galactica thought it was the detonation of nuclear weapons.

It's sorta been weirding me out. Not at all what I expected. Same here. I think I like it though.

Man i was in love with her growing up and I even watched Siler Spoons to see her. Buck should have nailed her the very first time, I mean common she was begging him at the party to take her.

Well if watching this means having to put up with Daughter-of-Janeway making herself a pain in the a$$ and spouting touchy-feely PC garbage then forget it. I'd rather watch Mail Call on The History Channel :)

Could very well be, Dr. Zoidberg.
Futurama is on now :-)

Yes, Yes it is. :-)

Naw...I liked "Taken" and "Carnivale" much better. OR give me X-Files anyday.

The stupid kid and robot dog weren't until later seasons when it jumped the shark. The first year or two, like most shows, was excellent. Like Star Trek, I'm too much of a purist to do "BG, the next generation".
I believe the original Battlestar was only a season long, and it has one of the unique distinctions of being cancelled despite having great ratings. The ratings didn't compensate near enough for the budget, even with the overused viper/cylon fighter stock footage.
As for this version, I watched expecting it to suck eggs. Thankfully, it doesn't suck eggs so far. The little geek references are nice: the blueprint of the cylon design in the beginning, which is identical to a 70's cylon, the Galactica tv theme being used for a news show, the museum that featured a model of a Cylon Base Star and an actual 70's cylon.
For a lot of it, I felt a "Fail Safe" vibe from it. You heard about more of the destruction than you saw. I thought it came off pretty well, and the destruction you did see was pretty eerie.

A common delusion and fantasy with all guys. :)
