It takes a while to get approval for the green card for Chinese, Pippin. It took Ming 30 months. Since Ying and I are married, that should help some. I expect maybe a year still, though.

Citizenship takes longer than that. Years. 5-10 years, I think.

OH!

I alwaym thought that when a foriegner married an American it was automatic citizenship.

But I remember my mom, she has never even applied for citizenship

she's still technically a Canadian citizen.
