I've often noticed, and it has been discussed on this thread, how EOM spells "Amerikkkan". After years of watching video footage from the Mid-East, Saudi and other of those lovely places where they are protesting all things American, on the posters and banners that are shown, it is spelled "Amrika, Amreka, or Amrikka". I've seen many versions but, never "Amerikkka". The "e" after the "m" is nearly always omitted.

Does it mean anything? I haven't a clue. Just an observation.

Rushmore Rocks, I am not a linguist, but I do I remember the spelling "Amerikkkan" as emerging from, or centering in, what I believe was a DOMESTIC anti-American-government movement in the mid-1990s.

An Oak Lawn man accused of spying for Iraq says he doesn't know how phone records of an Iraqi opposition leader -- records he admitted possessing -- ended up in the hands of the Iraqi Intelligence Service.

WASHINGTON -- US officials have found evidence corroborating White House allegations that Russian companies sold Saddam Hussein high-tech military equipment that threatened US forces during the invasion of Iraq last March, a senior State Department official said yesterday.

The official said the United States has found proof that Russian companies exported night-vision goggles and radar-jamming equipment to Iraq, the official said. The evidence includes the equipment itself and proof that it was used during the war, according to the official. Such exports would violate the terms of United Nations sanctions against Iraq.

"We have corroborated some of that evidence," the official told a group of reporters.
