Crosscount is a variable name. Right now, it is set to ' ', which is blank space. When the counter reaches zero, the message "The occasion is passed!" will be displayed on the screen.

This reminds me of that threat that was contained in one of I think Daleel's messages.

Remember when he/they said something about the US govt having to acquiesce to some demand, but if the time passed and the demand was not met, then the countdown would begin, and there would be no turning back, something along those lines.
