Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that we continue through this Christmas week without horrendous incident. Refresh those who stand watch, for we must remain vigilant. May we go into the New Year without the shedding of innocent blood, for we covet Your Divine Protection that harm not come near our shores. Grant wisdom and discernment to our guardians, and our citizens, that nothing escape notice. We again pray, O God, that You would stir up all peoples with the knowledge that each nation must sweep away all acts of terrorism and those who plan such destruction must be rendered powerless. We seek Your guidance and we seek Your good success that we might one day soon rest in complete peace and safety. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
