I just heard coming home tonight: the staten island ferry has been shut for hours because of "police activity", not sure what this is about.

Well, I read that NY City is on "orange plus" alert -- that sounds to me as RED Alert, they just don't want to use those words.

I believe whatever it may have been the stories we here about what they are doing is reassuring and we know we may never hear most of what they have caught (not that I want to hear near misses) I think you can breathe easier after vacation -g-
