PIPER, did you get an answer to your question about the travel time ON HORSEBACK from medina to tiram? I noticed that post too, and felt it slipped through the cracks. It's a definate time thing.

PIPER, did you get an answer to your question about the travel time ON HORSEBACK from medina to tiram?If Tiram is the modern city of Tarim in Yeman, that would be about 800 miles. Figure 8-10 days depending on terrain.
