Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that You have drawn so many to work with those who would rid the world of terrorism. We cannot begin to fathom the magnitude of the terrorism network, but we thank You, O God, for the wisdom of those in authority ... and we thank You, O God, for the willingness of others to carry out assignments, at great risk, so that our beloved country would be free from death and destruction.

I pray, Merciful Father, that You would place a hedge around each one who is charged with our national security ... may they be alert and filled with all wisdom and discernment ... grant them swift communication with others, both here and abroad, that any plan by the enemy would be thwarted. Protect those who need to remain anonymous in their work, but grant success that those who plan evil would be identified and set aside. Keep us resolute in the discharge of justice against our enemies, that we not be sidetracked by emotional displays designed to weaken our work.

Draw other nations to this task, O Lord, for the enemy is insidious and able to hide and regroup and strike again. Open the eyes of the world to know that one is not safe until all are safe, such is the evil upon us. Make it plain that we are seeing a spiritual battle ... the forces of evil attempting to overtake the forces of good ... an ageless, ongoing battle ... may we not be overcome by evil, but may we overcome evil with good. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
