What difference does it make when he did it? As Joe Scarborough prompted him to say, he has PTSD. He is incapable of making rational decisions. Apparently a goodly proportion of Maineiacs also have PTSD. Not to be confused with PTDS. Although the inability to make rational decisions is a common denominator.

Platner has a 100% VA disability rating. For this he gets $60,000 a year. He makes $5000 year from his oystering business. If part of his disability is PTSD and he still suffers from PTSD,he should not be running for Senate. If he is recovered from his PTSD, should he have to give up part of his 100% disability? He is obviously not 100% physically disabled because he works as an oysterman.
