This is worse than bringing a knife to a gunfight. And cameras are practically useless. Stay armed.

At least use a pencil like John Wick.

You need the home invasion app for that. I recommend the Mossberg attachment.

“A man tried to stop a home invasion with his cell phone”. Was this like James Bond, a gun in his phone.

Something similar happened in my neighborhood about 12 years ago. The neighborhood HOA Karen was driving through the community and saw a group of guys trying to push a television over the wall. She pulled her car into the driveway, got out, told them to stop and pointed her cell phone at them like it was a magical talisman. One of the guys walked over, snatched the phone out of her hand, pulled a gun and told her he was taking her car also. This is where the details get sketchy, because she somehow managed to get in the car and drive away without getting shot.
That guy proceeded to call every contact on her list and tell them he was going to kill her. He called her husband and told him he had their address and was going to come and kill both of them. This went on until she got the phone shut off.
It scared her so badly that within a month, they had sold their condo and moved back to Pittsburgh. Not sure Pittsburgh would be much safer when you’re that dumb.

His silent in his mind call should have been to his trusted close associates Smith & Wesson or Glock, loyally by his side.

I see that a lot in police videos. A cop stops a guy for speeding. The driver pulls out his cell phone and starts to record the officer.
It’s a weird intimidation technique… that never works.

Homeowner should have had a bunch of job aplications lying around. Then all he had to do was wave one in the intruders face. That wouldve scared him off.

It’s LA, he could go to prison for that.

Proof that you don’t necessarily need cops to commit “suicide by cop”.
