Great Britain saved my family from Nazism.
On the eve of World War II, many countries, including the United States, still limited Jewish immigration. But in July 1939, my grandparents were able to flee Germany for England. They settled in London, and two years later, my mother was born. Eight years after that, they emigrated to the United States. The family they left behind died in Hitler’s death camps.
Most European Jews were unable to escape — in part, it must be pointed out, because of British policy. Many of them would have gladly taken refuge in Palestine, then a British colony. But in May 1939, the British government effectively ended Jewish immigration to the territory. Still, for my family, Britain will always be viewed fondly as a safe haven from the horrors of the Holocaust.
That fondness makes the current situation for British Jews uniquely painful. Once a nation that welcomed victims of the Nazis, today the U.K. is increasingly a place where Jews are forced to look over their shoulder and hide their Jewishness. For American Jews, what’s happening across the Atlantic offers a disquieting preview of our possible future.

I swore that I would not stand by and watch the events starting in 1938 play out again, even though I am not a Jew. Now I’m too old to do battle. All I could do is sit in place and shoot until I am overrun. I hope that is good enough for my Israeli friends. They can place me where they want me.
Funny how the article fails to mention who is responsible for the rise in antisemitism. It isn’t heritage Britons, it’s the one’s name Mohammed.
We are not quite in a 1938 situation. But we are certainly in a 1930 situation.
In 1930, the Nazis were not yet in power. But they were attacking Jews in the street. And anyone who bothered to read ‘Mein Kampf’ knew what was coming.
Too many people didn’t take this seriously.
So a bloodbath followed.
Today:
The Muslims are not yet in power. But they are attacking Jews (and infidels) in the street. And anyone who bothers to read the Koran knows what is coming.
Too many people aren’t taking this seriously.
So will a bloodbath follow?
370,000 of them in GB. They all speak english. Bring them all here. Just don’t let them vote. Win for the country and a win for the right. The left? They’ll keep quiet. Those with the money are Jooz.
Right now we are in denial (especially in the US).
One big difference I suspect, America’s future will have Jews will legally owns self defense 9mm’s!
I agree, most of Americas populace are in complete denial!!
Rising anti Christian everywhere, but they’re apparently not important like the Jews.
I think so. I believe Western Civilization is undergoing collapse.
The oft-heard explanation for this increase in antisemitic hate is that it’s a response to anger over the war in Gaza. Even if one accepts the argument,
Stop right there. That IS the explanation. Specifically, the rise in antisemitism in the USA is coming chiefly from wokey, leftist students who - stunningly - protested Israel’s defense against the October 7 Hamas attacks. How many Middle East folks do you see here?

And now, for the whopper of a lie:
In short, what has risen to crisis levels in the U.K. is increasingly becoming the norm in the United States…most political leaders in the U.S. are silent. President Donald Trump has had little to say about the antisemitic spike. Democratic politicians put out the usual “thoughts and prayers” statement, solemnly condemning anti-Jewish hatred when violence occurs, but few do more than that.
Trump has been, if anything, very vocal about condemning antisemitism. He has gone so far as to push for anti-free speech proposals to curb antisemitism speech. If anything, it is the left that is antisemitism, notwithstanding Tucker, Candace, and related losers.
Bantam, you have touched upon an important point. Unlike in Europe, we in the United States have the 2A. Lots of folks here have lots of guns.
Islam will have an easy conquest of Europe. But in the US, not so much. We have a secret weapon, something that outsiders really can’t comprehend: We have Good Old Boys:
Because you can’t starve us out and you can’t make us run
‘Cause we’re them old boys raised on shotguns
- Hank Williams Jr.
No. No it is not. Over my dead body.
Notice what’s at the bottom of the “From the river to the sea” sign?
In 1979, the Iranian mullahs promised what was to come.
Death to America.
Eight Presidents later, Donald Trump takes them seriously.
Do unto muslims before they do unto us.
Seems to me more like anti-white.
Here’s what really annoys me about articles like this. What never seems to get mentioned is that the Democrats are pushing anti-semitism in a big way. And yet I never see any articles commenting on how Jews in the Democratic Party are leaving it. As far as I can tell from my readings it’s not happening.
Again, as far as I can tell, the only people who seem to give a damn about the anti-Semitism in the United States are conservatives and Republicans. The liberal press doesn’t give a damn. It would seem to appear that the Jewish constituents of the Democrat Party or all of a like-mind with Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer.
In other words, just as they do with blacks, the Democrats say if you’re not a Democrat you’re not Jewish. And it would appear the lot of these people believe that. With the left everything is a litmus test and you must pass it or you are persona non grata
Lots of kapos in the Jewish ranks today. Once they stop voting overwhelmingly Democrat, I will start caring what happens to them.
In the US Jews have the ability to defend themselves if they more out of the anti-gun hellholes so many of them live in.
