I did not see any of the actual protest. But yes, they are willing to fight. Violent, riotous, illegal actions should be acted against through law. However, peaceful protest against a political position needs to be allowed.
What happened to allowing the existence of opposing views. What was that tv tag line? I may disagree with you but will defend your right to say it.
We are living in very polarized times. Often I find current day protests repugnant but have to accept legitimate protest must be allowed lest we weaken our rights and freedoms.
