One of the Secret Service agents who failed to secure the roof of the AGR building at the Butler rally on the day of the assassination attempt against President Trump has been suspended again.
Myosoty “Miyo” Perez was one of the agents who failed to secure Trump’s July 2024 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Perez was one of the female agents seen fumbling with her firearm and struggling to holster her gun following the assassination attempt.

To this day, only six Secret Service agents connected to the Butler assassination attempt were temporarily suspended without pay.
Myosoty Perez was one of the six Secret Service agents who were suspended, but she was allowed back at her post until she was suspended again.
According to Real Clear Politics, Perez was suspended for not properly disclosing her relationship and marriage to a foreign national.
Perez secretly married a Brazilian woman in April 2025 and did not notify the agency until this January, according to Real Clear Politics.

I thought Perez was a female. How could she "marry" another female? And still retain her security clearance.

Once upon a time I had a job with a very high security clearance. One of the things we were told is that if we married a foreign national our security clearance would be automatically dropped and we would be moved to a less sensitive job.
I recall other factors requiring immediate loss of security clearance as being caught with drugs and messing around with homosexuals. So you can see by this how old I am.
One would think that this failure to notify the SS of the marriage would be grounds for dismissal.
So now Secret Service agents can be female, almost get the protectee killed through dereliction of duty, be a lesbian, and have a secret marriage to a foreigner.
And she’s still in the agency a year later. Yeah folks, it’s gonna be a win, not, and if that somebody else gets assassinated in America. And it doesn’t help matters that that would thrill the Democrats, and that Trump goes on TV every week or two to brag about foreign assassinations we are conducting.

A friend who has a security clearance had to inform his employer when he dated a non-US citizen. He later married a citizen.
