Sarah Clarke, the wife of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, has been linked to the Feeding Our Future fraud scandal through her former employer, Hylden Advocacy & Law, which provided lobbying services to the non-profit organization at the center of the $250 million scheme.

 

Key details regarding this connection:

• Employment Timeline: Sarah Clarke worked as a lobbyist and Director of Government Affairs at Hylden Advocacy & Law from approximately 2016 to January 2022.
• Feeding Our Future Link: During her time at the firm, Hylden Advocacy & Law represented Feeding Our Future, the non-profit charged with defrauding federal child nutrition programs.
• Departure Timing: Clarke left the firm in January 2022, around the same time federal investigations and FBI raids began, according to reports.
