If there’s nothing to hide why freak out? If everything was above board they’d be happy to have this put to bed. They’re freaking out because they know they’re about to be exposed.

One thing I'm hoping for is lack of evidence. IIRC, with scanned ballots some software stores the ballots as images, and the local vote county precinct isn't required by law to keep the paper ballots as long as they have the scanned images. But some audited precincts didn't keep the scanned images either (or they destroyed the evidence to show that some ballots were counted multiple times, etc.)
