For those unfamiliar with the manosphere—a s^%& test is when a woman gets very emotional and uses that emotion to put the man under pressure—to find out what he is made of...over nothing of importance.
An example would be if she accuses the guy of not doing a specific chore (that they never even discussed before) or criticizes his shoes or hat—out of the blue—and she is emotional about it.
In an evolutionary sense she is trying to find out if he has enough character and confidence and toughness to be (or remain) a suitable mate.
(The manosphere has lots of debates about the best way to approach such a test—the one that has worked well for me is to wave her off like a small child who is pestering you—”topic for tomorrow, I am busy today” or “maybe important but not urgent, it can wait”. Since it is just a test she usually forgets about it by tomorrow. If she brings it up the next day it was not a test—it was a real concern.)
It’s a comedy bit people. I get not reading an article - FR tradition - but try reading the title.
What about the test of knowing what a car is?

If a woman gets in one of these emotional meltdowns and you don’t want to deal with it I have a sure fire way to disarm her. Just stare at her intensely and say....Your mustache is coming in real good. She won’t remember what she was bitchin’ about. Follow me for more great relationship advice.
Also, if a woman comes at you with a knife...throw her some bread and mustard. Her instincts will kick in and she will fix you a sammich.

Somebody can try it—an experiment for science.
Usually the woman does not even know she is doing it—it is just instinct—and she often apologizes later.
But—if the guy does not handle it properly a lot of damage can be done. He can lose status in her eyes.
