My sister lived in Illinois for a while. She hated it and was afraid to go outside. She left after her husband passed and moved back to the hills of East Tennessee and the mountains where she was raised. Blue cities aren’t compatible with Southern country girls.
Great Lakes Naval Air Station is about 38 miles north of downtown Chicago. Any anti-ICE action would have to be artificially bussed in and paid for.

That’s weird. I’ve been looking at “P” Coats for the last month or so. Texas is having a weird winter. They’re not predicting any cold or snow but I don’t trust them. I’m a bird watcher and the birds are acting a lot weirder than they’ve been acting the past few years.
The problem for these woke officials is that most(?) residents (state or city) are also U.S. citizens. This makes ALL these battles, to one degree or another, a federal issue. They’d better get used to it.

Not always, but when I ask it questions I see it goes to wiki for answers. In those cases the answers are either a total lie or partial truth.
I’ve asked it some question regarding my own health and got surprisingly good results along with chatgpt and Google AI giving nearly identical answers. All three diagnosed a very painful issue I have and recommended a diet and one dietary supplement. THE PAIN IS GONE! The medical people wanted to do very expensive and painful exploratory procedures followed up by an operation. I can now give the doctors the middle finger and tell them where to go.
