THEY ALWAYS GO AFTER THE MIDDLE CLASS: AN EXAMPLE
Toby Rogers Substack ^ | November 1, 2025 | Toby Rogers

... for the last 500 years, if you were a nation that wanted to get rich, the way you did it was you built a bunch of ships, you loaded them full of soldiers and guns and horses, and you sailed from Europe, to the New World, and you took their stuff. You took their gold, you enslaved their people, you forced people to work in the gold mines and that sort of thing. That’s how Europe got rich. That’s how the UK got rich. And so that’s the historical pattern for 500 years. 500 years of colonialism.

And then later there was neocolonialism with unfair trade deals that kept enriching Europe and the United States. And then more recently, with the backing of the U.S. military, we can get Third World nations to produce stuff for us for low cost that makes us feel rich. So historically, for 500 years, that’s been the pattern.

Here’s the problem: At some point, there were no new lands left to conquer. And so what the ruling class decided was that where the money is — the peasants to be exploited — were the middle class in the United States and throughout the developed world. And how do you extract wealth from the middle class? You do it through iatrogenic injury.

So if you can get the entire population to inject their kids 72 times during childhood and then get all the rest of the population and the kids to take Covid shots and you can injure them, you can enslave them for life to chronic illness. So in my research, I show that lifetime care costs for autism are in the range of $5 million to $7 million per kid. That’s a lot of money. And it goes somewhere, and it goes to the pharmaceutical industry, the hospital industrial complex, and the ruling class.

And so with Covid shots, what we have is — picture a middle-aged woman in Orange County, California, who gets a Covid shot and then she gets myocarditis. So now she has to do regular appointments with the cardiologist. She’s in and out of the hospital, she’s sick all the time. So over the course of the next five to ten years of her life, her health care costs are going to be in the range of about $2 million. And that all goes to Pharma, doctors, and the pharmaceutical industrial complex.

If that same woman was enslaved in a gold mine in South America, you could only get about $20,000 worth of labor out of her — the most if you worked her to the bone. And then she would, you know, eventually, perish. The old model of colonialism, right? But in five to 10 years in the U.S. you can squeeze $2 million out of this one person through iatrogenic injury, through a Covid shot that causes myocarditis that sends her in and out of the hospital for 10 years of treatment. And so the insurance company pays, the government pays, she mortgages her house, her family pays, it extracts all wealth out of her and her family, and then after 10 years, the pharmaceutical industry allows her to perish.

So the crisis that we’re in right now — and why we’re all just traumatized all the time — is that western allopathic medicine has become a machine to extract wealth out of the middle class, working class, and lower classes in the United States to enrich the pharmaceutical industry and the ruling class through iatrogenic injury. That’s the crisis that we’re in right now. And it was already happening with autism and other chronic illnesses in children before, and then it just blossomed in size during the Covid epidemic, and the response, and the junk science Covid shots.

Yes!

And one country NOT asking for reparations from Great Britain is Singapore. It makes sense, its real per capita income is higher than GB.

In the early 1960’s many African countries had higher real per capita incomes then Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, and Singapore. Leadership, support of free enterprise, property rights, and minimal corruption matter.

Gold is the single resource mentioned here but not the only resources extracted from the New and Developing world by colonial powers and after industrialization….their financial and political elites

Africa even now is throwing out the French who have kept generations of African men women and children working in toxic pits to send uranium cobalt lithium and other minerals to France and Europe. The Brits contributed the bureacracies…political financial military and trade controls ….that established political maps and created “national” leaders in newly created countries, that ensured control…the natives kept producing the resources that enriched Europe and its banks ….even establishing compliant ‘monarchies” in the Arab world that controlled the domestic populations and kept the oil flowing ….only America successfully rebelled from being part of the Empire.

And each used the Indians in America as “ allies’ to fight for which European power would control the resources and establish trade monopoly between the New World and Europe…the 10 yr French and Indian war preceded the American Revolution by over a decade….created alliances between the natives and the Europeans which got the natives exactly what, over the long term?

Complete B.S. Gold and silver do not make you rich as a society.

All those places have many more people living in them today, at higher standards of living than they did 500 years ago, because Europeans (and then Americans) advanced technology, medicine, engineering and science so much that everybody got much richer than they had been.

The idea the West stole its way to being rich is a fabrication.

“the only thing wrong with this supposed plan is that the rich vacinate their kids too.”
And are maybe in fact more likely to do so.”

Yeah, I wondered about that too. The premise fell apart there.

Need to avoid Marxist terminology and concepts. The middle class is not a class in the Marxist sense of the word.

“Real estate wealth is tied to good land titles,...”

My family learned there is no such wealth when the government confiscates land through revolution or war.

Or if they want a new road. Or if they want to build a stadium. Or if they think some developer’s project can generate more taxes. Or if they want a power line. Or if they want a railroad, Or if they want a pipeline.

Your property is only your own until some government scumbag and some thief get together with a feckless judge and steal it.

Common way to increase assets in the past was war rape and pillage.

Then Capitalism helped to make a third way.

Now we are looking at darkness and more war rape and pillage.

Make no mistake they want western civilization’s stuff.

And they will kill for it.

“In North America the Indians were not enslaved”

Unfortunately, many were. I was astonished to learn Catholics enslaved Indians as they worked their way up the coast of California building missions. And if you do a search you’ll see it happened many other places. Blew my mind. Interesting how it’s only one form of slavery, whites enslaving blacks, that seems to count.

I’m glad this article fostered conversation, even though dismissed by many, I found it thought-provoking.

They present a strong argument. Nothing changes till the money runs out. What will that look like?

You do know that they enslaved and sold other Indians?

Anyone paying property taxes is merely a renter. Fail to pay the property tax ( rent) the to government and armed police will evict you.

No one paying a property tax is a true owner.

I read some studies, that colonies were the major problem of Spain.
Gold from America flooded Europe and caused major inflation and economic crisis.
There were too much easy money, everybody who could (especially the best) left for America. As a result, Spain suffered from depopulation, from lack of skilled workers, and from the welfare trap.
