I heard his speech he said he is going to destroy landlords he lumps them all together like they are all billionaires many are not and the rent they get is how they survive he is going to destroy the entire city when I see him I see sinwar
Plank #1 of the Communist Manifesto: Abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to public purpose.
That's the idea, it will be turned into a Muslim stronghold, and eventually it will spread.
I call his plan of command and control “fascism”. What manner of force will they resort to? Antifa style?
I wonder if that’s part of the plan. All the smaller landlords who use the rent to just have a normal life, pay their bills, feed their family and maintain the rental properties will be screwed. Then, companies like Black rock can move in and scoop up the properties.
Basically , hardworking middle class will pay for..immigrants.
Of course he was divisive. If you look at these failed societies in South America and elsewhere, they put most people in poverty, but they constantly tell you some enemy (whites, billionaires, Christians, America) is out to get you. They rule by hate.
I watched the Democrat victory speeches. Not a single policy, just empty rhetoric and they’re going to fight somebody.
Wow. I hope every business and taxpayer in the higher brackets move the hell out of NYC *fast* - so this commie doesn’t have a chance to get their money. Tax the fools who voted for this POS. See how far ya get, Commie Mamdani.
Rent freezes and free busses turn apts and busses into trash heap slums and (barely) rolling wrecks. I guess the denizens of NYC are going to have to learn this lesson for themselves.
So, the real question is this, how much are you going to personally invest into n being a NYC landlord under their new mayor? Will they get more investment capital? Will investors flee?
Not one NYPD officer....They could have stopped this shit cold. But they all sat on their hands . Now they will pay a terrible price
Oddly, many of the landlords are black, especially in poorer areas.
