The one silver lining here is he was not born here and neither were his parents. The most he’ll get is senator.

Oddly, many of the landlords are black, especially in poorer areas.
The people living in major blue cities like Chicago, LA, Portland, Detroit, New Orleans ....... have repeatedly elected democrats to run their cities. The fact that many parts of these cities are like war zones doesn't seem to change the voting pattern.
The thing that needs to be applied to all blue cities that rely heavily on federal subsidies is the removal of those subsidies. I for one am tired of the federal government funding city and state governments that are contrary to my values. The federal government needs to stop funneling my money to those who hate me and mine! To a lesser degree, state governments need to stop funneling taxpayer money to detestable city governments.

By next year at this time, many more financial companies will move operations out of New York. I can do the same from my home office as I did when I commuted from Jersey to NYC every day. And it cost a lot less.

I have to drive from Maryland to New England frequently. I normally bypass NYC by going 60 miles out of the way to Scranton, PA. It saves tons in tolls and I don’t have to enter the cesspool. I’ll redouble my efforts now.

His father is a prof at Columbia and his mother is director / filmmaker Mira Nair. Apparently she gets a lot of her production money from Qatar. Her films are big in India, here not so much. While not super-wealthy they are certainly very well-off. Little Zohran has never had a private sector job.

Nit really feeling sorry for NYC. They voted for this guy knowing full well what his plans are. I just hope they don’t drag the rest of the country down with them.
