I can see a limited need for women cops on patrols but never ever two of them. They must always be backed by a male.
I remember that video. You’d think one of the female cops would have just grabbed the guy’s legs, and brought him down. Then he wouldn’t be going anywhere.
Instead, they just pawed at him - your words, and a perfect description.
I went back to the party and turned on the light. Then I stopped the music and called the name of the boy. I told him his dad was waiting outside for him. The boy didn't move. Then I said the party was going to be stopped until he left. So he left. My wife didn't like the way I handled that.

I think this why female cops are involved in shootings. They are unable to physically control the situation. So, they just escalate.

Anyway, your pairing suggestion has merit. Pair a weaker female officer with a stronger male one. But that would never happen, at least not officially.

Where DEI is rampant theywill not even allow pairing — one DEI hire and one real copper (i.e., a guy that doesn’t look like PeeWeeHerman). This is not allowed as it makes the DEI hire look incapable.

A return to merit based recruiting and other common sense policies will cause an immediate spike in quality applicants.
This is happening in the military as we speak.
The DEI policies put officers at risk - no one in their right mind wants to be partnered with one of these DEI females. High quality people tend to have a lot of career options, and when they see how badly DEI has f’d up law enforcement, they will choose a different career.
I think it is as I said-”society” (the people who believe in DEI in the Media, Education, and Government) have made the decision that females in police and firefighter roles are A-OK.
And that is it.
They haven’t fully done the Military part yet, but they have women in combat roles on US Navy vessels. A lot of people think that US Navy vessels aren’t “combat”, but in the battle for Guadalcanal in 1942, there were 4,000+ Navy personnel KIA, compared to land based KIA which numbered just over 1,000.
I watch a lot of cop-cam videos on Youtube.
Female cops always have to call for back up because they do not have the upper body strength to subdue male perps.
IMO, a female cop should never be sent out on patrol alone, she should always have a male partner with her.
