Indeed. Let us see if there is one good man counted among Democrats.
Arrangements are by the family. I believe his wife wants him home...where his heart is.
Likely to draw some disruptors into the rotunda. Throw’em in the DC gulag.
Man. That would take courage.
I think we can expect the madness just about everywhere now. The evil is emboldened when “leaders” like Tom McClintock go squishy on censure. I do not believe he has ever been in a knife fight. Could be wrong, but softness in the face of chimp aggression get you beat over the head, with your own arm!
Even the Beeb has changed their editorial slant this morning. They’re now very much on board with the united MSM narrative that Charlie was a hateful man, who: “preached hate under the guise of so-called “debate””.
(sigh).
This has nothing to do with his “final resting place”. This has to do with allowing the nation and the world to pay proper respects at the U.S. Capitol.
I hope not. Charlie Kirk was a good man who deserves many honors but he is not a military hero, he didn’t hold national elective office, nor did he serve a long period in Congress. Let him be buried in peace and stop using him as a political “gotcha”. Once we get into a contest of who or who does not deserve rotunda honors, we devolve into petty opponents.
If there were no “disruptive” actors when Ruth Ginsburg - lied in state there Will certainly be nothing tolerated for Charlie.
My family went to pay respects to Ruth - not because we were aligned with her. - we most certainly were on opposite sides of every issue. But she WAS without a doubt a voice of opposition.
And for THAT - we spent a full day in line to pay our respects.
I suspect the SAME can and will be said of Charlie. Many who disagreed with him vehemently- with words ! Not bullets - Will honor him if the senate gets their act together and gets the 60 votes needed.
This is about a victim of political assassination - first Amendment defender like none ever in world history.
. I would argue far more significant in the world than ANY previous public figure that has ever lied in state.
To put Charlie Kirk in the same place as politicians is sacrilegious, an anathema to him in the first place. Besides, the stench and stain of Xiden will take a generation to fade away.
Others can feel differently but the White House/Capital Complex is home to the most corrupt place on Earth.
Here’s a recent list. About half are swamp creatures:
Jimmy Carter
2. Ralph Puckett Jr.
3. Harry Reid
4. Robert Dole
5. John Lewis
6. Ruth Bader Ginsburg
7. George H. W. Bush
8. John McCain
9. Gerald Ford
10. Ronald Reagan
Democrats would pee on the coffin.
I agree.
Charlie Kirk embodied what it is to be an American citizen. He led by moral example, a good and decent life - a Christian life. He dared to correct the damnable course the nation is heading down, by counteracting our amoral and unprincipled universities and colleges by engaging our youth in their centers of indoctrination. He was assassinated, by the demonic Left, for doing so.
The United States of America owes this man and his family a great debt of gratitude.
Followed by beatification?
It’s been almost two weeks.
It’s time for his body to be laid to rest. This is getting ghoulish.
Sorry...this would be purely political. Not right.
This is a def “No”. Do not use Kirk for a political prop. He was republican because he found the party receptive to Judeo Christian values, that rights came from God. He wanted us to be better people, the best versions. Of our self
This is something that MUST happen for the healing of America and the World that that is in favor or public debate over public assassination to silence your debate opponent rather than engage.
I have great respect for what Van Jones said to Anderson Cooper
