Quick story. A friend of mine would go fishing in Canada every year or so. And the Canadian border police would always pull him over for an inspection. Always.
My friend couldn’t figure out why. Then a relative pointed out the NRA sticker on his truck’s back bumper. My friend then removed the sticker before entering Canada.

This Doctor, most Doctors would say the Nurse violated the unwritten Pecking Order of med teams: The mistaken belief that doctors are above reproach and would never agree to being called out or upbraided by a “mere” Nurse!
Most Doctors will stick together in such situations, until their own actions warrant a closer scrutiny.
He should be reprimanded just for making such statements in the presence of a patient. You can bet that patient’s blood pressure was boosting up like an express elevator.
