Class act from the Yankees
As a Red Sox fan, a class act from them.
Since I live in LA obviously we are bred to not like the Yankees but I gained a lot of respect for them tonight for doing this..very classy..I just cant believe this happened, its like an awful nightmare that I cant wake up from
BTTT
Yep, good to hear from NY, a very class act.
May he be known to us a Charlie the Martyr.
Absolutely devastated... he did nothing wrong but speak and love God, country and family.
Meanwhile npr reports
“Charlie Kirk, a Trump ally and voice for young conservatives, dies at age 31”
npr is despicable!
Class act from the Yankees.
Yep. All he did was respectfully debate anyone who wanted to do do.
Proud to be a Yankees fan
It’s just beyond shocking, my eyes are sor from crying. My husband and I are born again Christians who had met Charlie at an early fundraiser for TPUSA and continue to financially give to one of the finest youth organizations making a difference in our young people. Pray, everyone steps up to continue Charlie’s legacy and thus thwart the goal of his murderer which is to silence us.
That’s exactly how I felt all day. Sad and depressed. I loved Charlie and can’t get over what a great loss to our country this is. I’m not one to canonize people just because they are a good Christian (only God knows for sure), but I think Charlie has a better than average chance of being quickly with his Lord. Rest in peace, Charlie. Ya done good with the short time our Lord gave you.
NYT said the same...
Growing up a red-blooded American, I always enjoyed the idea of the Yankees.
I am now a full-fledged New York Yankees baseball fan.
At almost 70 years old, I have learned and practiced how to celebrate a life. Celebrate while someone is still with us, and even more when someone passes.
Charlie Kirk left a huuuuge legacy to celebrate. Pray for his family, and rest assured that in his short 31 years on this good Earth, his efforts will echo throughout eternity.
Need to rethink my disdain for the Yankees.
A remarkable way to honor someone who was not a public official and had no affiliation with professional sports at all — let alone Major League Baseball.
Me too. I was busy in my craft room when I got the news on the Citizen app. I went running out shouting, “Oh my God, oh my God, Charlie Kirk has been murdered!” I keep wanting to hear that the news was mistaken, but it’s so real.
I went into the kitchen and told my Mom and told her and she instantly just broke out crying, she knew who he was, she’s not good with names but she instantly said “The young guy with the black hair OMG NO” its just a nightmare, he meant so much to so many, I just cant believe he’s gone I just cant believe he’s gone..I keep on saying “OK what now, what do we do”
“Proud to be a Yankees fan”
Same.
Still glad my Tigers crushed them tonight.
